Worth it

It is such a handy kit especially for us living in the middle of nowhere on a farm and our closest town doesn't have a doctor.  I feel a lot better knowing I'm prepared for the unknown by having Prepare Medical in the house.

Why Emergency Preparedness Can't Be An Afterthought

Over one third of Canadian patients spent 5-14 hours at a single visit to the ER in 2024-2025.
There were over 2,500 drug shortages reported in 2024-2025 throughout Canada.
About 1 in 5 Canadians don’t have a primary healthcare provider.

When Care Is Hours Away, Preparedness Matters.

Be Ready for the Unexpected

Plus Icon
Survival

Safety, even when no one else is around.

X icon

Sometimes the usual routes to care aren't there when you need them. With your prescribedmedications on hand, help is already with you. Less time searching for an answer, more time recovering.

Plus Icon
Surges & Wait Times

Be prepared when help isn’t immediately available.

X icon

When clinics are overwhelmed and wait times stretch for days, having physician-prescribed medications already at home means a treatable problem doesn't have to become a crisis. Telehealth support helps you confirm the right step before you take it.

Plus Icon
Caring for Family

For anyone who can’t wait for hours at the ER.

X icon

Whether you have an elderly parent who can’t leave the house with ease or hyper kids who make an ER wait impossible, your emergency kit keeps you at home when you are sick. Telehealth access makes at home care easier than ever.

Plus Icon
Off-Grid

Hours from the nearest hospital? Covered.

X icon

Rural and remote Canadians know the reality: the nearest ER may be closed, and the nearest doctor may be hours away. Your kit bridges that distance. Prescribed in advance, with a year of telehealth guidance when you need to use it.

Plus Icon
Shortages

Don’t let pharmacy shortages catch you off-guard.

X icon

A physician-prescribed emergency kit, dispensed before shortages hit, means the pharmacy running dry doesn't leave you and your family without options.

Plus Icon
Disaster

Your first line of defense if an emergency strikes.

X icon

Storms, wildfires, and floods can cut off roads and close pharmacies for days. Preparedness means your prescribed medications, and a direct line to a physician by phone, are already with you when help is delayed.

How it Works

Our process is completely online and simple to complete

Select your Kit

Pick a starting point for your Prepare Medical Kit from our Essential, Essential Plus, and All Inclusive kits. Your final medications depend on allergies, current prescriptions and eligibility.

Step 2

Doctor Assessment

A physician licensed in your province reviews your health history. Prescriptions are only issued if appropriate.

Step 3

Shipping & A Year of Support

Questions?

Start Here

What if a physician decides a medication isn't appropriate for me?

The medication is substituted or removed at the physician's discretion. If no kit can be safely prescribed, you are not charged.

Can I select which medications I want?

Prepare Medical follows a standardized, clinically driven process.  Medications that may be prescribed are carefully selected for their safety profiles and low potential for drug interactions - this serves as the basis for all prescribing decisions. Once an individual submits an intake form, a licensed clinician independently evaluates their medical history and determines which medications are medically appropriate. Only after clinical approval are prescriptions issued. Individuals may then opt to include or exclude any of the prescribed medications in their final fulfillment package. Prepare Medical does not prescribe narcotics, controlled substances, or targeted medications under any circumstances.

How is my private health information protected?

We greatly value your privacy and understand that sharing sensitive health information can cause concern. Our website is LegitScript certified and your information will only be shared with medical professionals for prescribing purposes.

Why do I need to submit a photo ID?

We need a government-issued ID so our physicians can confirm your identity and ensure they are prescribing to the right person. This works alongside your health history so they can rule out drug interactions and allergies.

What is included in the cost of my kit?

Depending on which kit you purchase, you will receive 6 to 20 medications, subject to physician review. You also receive a free emergency guidebook and one year of telehealth access to our physicians.

How long will the medications last?

Most medications have a 12–24 month shelf life. Each one will be individually labeled so it will be very clear when the medication expires. Expiry dates are dependent on storage conditions.

How is my order shipped and delivered?

Our partner pharmacies ship your medication using their network of logistics partners, which could encompass carriers such as FedEx, Canada Post, Purolator, or local delivery companies. In most cases, you will receive tracking details once your order has been shipped.

Still deciding?

The doctor review is covered. If you aren't approved for the kit, you will receive a full refund.
